01Your Screen Time data never leaves your device

Focus Control reads your usage through Apple's Screen Time API. Apple seals that data inside your iPhone, so the developer never sees which apps you use, for how long, or what you block. It is not sent anywhere.

02What is stored on your device

There is no account and no sign-up. Your goal, block rules, schedules, focus history, notification settings and onboarding answers are saved on your iPhone only. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

03Services the app uses

  • Google AdMob — shows ads. Collects your advertising identifier, IP address and device details.
  • Google Firebase — anonymous usage statistics and app settings. Collects an app instance ID, device model and app version.
  • RevenueCat — manages Pro subscriptions. Stores an anonymous ID and your purchase receipt.
  • Apple — handles all payments. The developer never sees your card or billing details.

None of them receive your Screen Time data or your block rules. See Google, RevenueCat and Apple for their own policies.

04Ads

The app is free and funded by ads. Focus Control does not ask to track you across other companies' apps, so you receive non-personalised ads where iOS requires that permission. Subscribing to Pro removes ads.

05Notifications

Notifications are scheduled and delivered by your own device. Nothing is sent over the internet. Turn them off any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

06Children

Focus Control is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe it has, email the address below and it will be removed.

07Your rights and your data

Nothing is sold. Because there is no account and no server, your data is on your device and disappears when you delete the app. For anything held by the services in section 3, email the developer and you will be pointed to the right provider.

Your subscription is held by Apple and is not affected by deleting the app — manage it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

08Changes and contact
